1.121C Hot Fix Update

Greetings!

We have some mid-week Hot Fix notes and fixes coming at you this afternoon! We anticipate these being the last major Hot Fix notes prior to the 1.122 patch coming this fall, pending feedback, as always. Read on for the notes!


Bug Fixes


  • The level 12 Thrust style, Bloody Dance, has had its Bleed effect increased from 3 damage to 13 damage.
  • The Immolation lifetap in Valewalking now fires its group heal once again even if the lifetap is resisted.
  • BP-purchased cloaks from Svasud Faste can now be sold on Consignment Merchants and placed into house vaults properly.
  • Several spell levels have been adjusted to reflect the correct level that the spells are received.
  • All Left Axe, Celtic Dual, Dual Wield, and Critical Strikes weaponskill buffs (available on some weapons) have been converted to base weapon weaponskill buffs instead (Sword and Axe, Blades and Piercing, Slash and Thrust, etc.).
    • This is because base weapon weaponskill buffs correctly increase main-hand and off-hand damage whereas the advanced line WS buffs do not.
    • Please note that this is only the case for these 4 advanced skill lines, and not for other advanced skill lines' buffs (such as Two-Handed, Polearm, Large Weaponry, Fist Wraps etc.) as those apply their bonuses correctly.
  • Light Tank "pet proc stance" pets have had their HP, melee damage, and melee defenses set to the correct values. This results in an overall reduction in all values.
  • Astral Conflagrant Short Swords/Hatchets will no longer proc when Light Tank "pet proc stance" is enabled.
  • The level 20 Sorcerer root spell, Lesser Body Lock, in Body specialization has been made AoE (350 radius) like the rest of the spells in its line.

Class Balance

Animist

  • All fire and forget turret pets have had their cast times reduced from 5s to 3.5s. Controlled pets are still 5s cast time.

Archers

  • Standard Shot has had its cast time increased from 4.0s to 4.2s.
  • Critical Shot’s damage has been slightly reduced to the following values:
    • Level 5 - Critical Shot 1 damage decreased from 15 to 14
    • Level 11 - Critical Shot 2 damage decreased from 50 to 48
    • Level 17 - Critical Shot 3 damage decreased from 90 to 88
    • Level 23 - Critical Shot 4 damage decreased from 129 to 126
    • Level 29 - Critical Shot 5 damage decreased from 168 to 164
    • Level 35 - Critical Shot 6 damage decreased from 209 to 204
    • Level 41 - Critical Shot 7 damage decreased from 248 to 242
    • Level 47 - Critical Shot 8 damage decreased from 288 to 285
    • Level 50 - Critical Shot 9 damage decreased from 308 to 305
  • Power Shot has had its damage reduced to the following values:
    • Level 3 - Power Shot 1 damage decreased from 15 to 12
    • Level 9 - Power Shot 2 damage decreased from 50 to 45
    • Level 15 - Power Shot 3 damage decreased from 90 to 86
    • Level 21 - Power Shot 4 damage decreased from 129 to 123
    • Level 27 - Power Shot 5 damage decreased from 168 to 160
    • Level 33 - Power Shot 6 damage decreased from 209 to 194
    • Level 39 - Power Shot 7 damage decreased from 248 to 230
    • Level 45 - Power Shot 8 damage decreased from 288 to 279
  • The archer damage immunity's duration for Critical Shot and Power Shot has been increased from 10s to 15s.
    • NOTE: The damage reduction trails off quickly during the last 5s of its duration.
  • Heightened Awareness' effect has been increased from +10% to +20% stealth detection bonus

 Assassins

  • Heightened Awareness' effect has been increased from +10% to +20% stealth detection bonus
  • All levels of Vanish have had the durations of the disarm and silence effects increased from 15s to 30s.
  • The level 39 Critical Strikes style, Stunning Stab, now follows the Hamstring off-evade style instead of Creeping Death. Its effect has changed from a 3% abs debuff to a 10s wither.
  • The armor wither debuff amounts have been increased slightly. This should result in more consistent and higher damage on withered targets when using called shot styles.
  • The mesmerization poisons will now apply on targets with remedy active.
    • NOTE: The mesmerization poisons now appear under the "Abilities" dropdown menu on the spell list instead of under the "Envenom" dropdown even though they are still trained via the Envenom specialization.

Friar

  • The level 50 Staff style, Excommunication, has had its group heal proc value increased from 125 to 150 and its range increased from 500 to 1500.

Hunter

  • The Pulsing Bladeturn effect has been removed from Hunter's Point Blank Shot. The self-haste components of the shot have been restored to their original values:
    • Level 16 - 22% haste
    • Level 28 - 30% haste
    • Level 40 - 39% haste
  • Hunter pets can no longer perform side positional stuns.

Mercenary

  • The RR5, Blinding Dust, has been changed as follows:
    • Renamed to Dissolute Swings, duration increased from 15s to 30s.
      • Increases Crush/Slash/Thrust weaponskill by 50%
      • Clears all pre-existing stat debuffs on the Mercenary and prevents any additional ones from firing on them for its duration
      • Drastically reduces the chance for the Merc to Evade or Parry attacks for its duration
    • Dirty Tricks now has a 500 radius pbaoe, -50% nearsight, 15s duration component attached to its normal fumble proc buff ability.

Sorcerer

  • Sorcerers will need to perform a Skill respec in order to see the following changes.
  • Several spells in the Mind specialization have been moved as follows:
    • Level 26 to 21 - Perspicuity of Power - Single-target power regen buff
    • Level 27 to 22 - Circle of Perspicuity - Group power regen buff
    • Level 36 to 30 - Cognition of Power - Single-target power regen buff
    • Level 37 to 31 - Circle of Cognition - Group power regen buff
    • Level 46 to 41 - Lucidity of Power - Single-target power regen buff
    • Level 47 to 42 - Circle of Lucidity - Group power regen buff
    • Level 49 to 46 - Brotherhood of the Mind - Mez-dampening chant
  • The following new spells have been added to the Mind specialization:
    • Level 45 - Suggested Rage - 3.2s cast - 10% buff to melee damage - group-targeted - 10s duration - 30s RUT - 20% base power - 1500 radius
    • Level 47 - Impenetrable Shield - 10s castable on the move – Combined AF, spec AF, ABS buffs and Magic Damage Reduction debuff at the following values:
      • 250 base AF - 20 minute duration - self-targeted - overwrites baseline absorb buff - ease of use addition
      • 275 spec AF - 20 minute duration - self-targeted - overwrites other spec AF buffs - drastically reduces vulnerability to melee attacks
      • 30% absorb - 20 minute duration - self-targeted - overwrites baseline absorb buff - drastically reduces vulnerability to melee attacks
      • Lowers the Sorcerer's magic damage dealt by 40% - 20 minute duration - self-targeted - trades damage dealt for increased survivability
        • NOTE: Removing any of the above 3 buffs will remove the other 3 attached buffs but not the debuff.
      • Level 48 - Forced Trance - instant-cast - mesmerize - single-targeted - 30s duration - 600s RUT - 18 power - 1500 range
      • Level 49 - Mollifying Suggestion - 2.8s cast - lowers the targets magic damage dealt by 30% - single-targeted - 30s duration - 60s RUT - 1500 range - 30% base power
      • Level 50 - Mindfulness - instant-cast - resets quickcast timer - self-targeted - 60s RUT

Vampiir

  • Vampiirs will need to perform a Skill respec in order to see the following changes.
  • The maintained effectiveness debuff has been returned to the Dementia specialization at the following levels and values:
    • Level 1 - Hinder Senses - 2% effectiveness debuff - 3s cast - 7s duration - 3s pulse frequency - 10s RUT - 1 power - 1 power per pulse
    • Level 9 - Weaken Senses - 9% effectiveness debuff - 3s cast - 7s duration - 3s pulse frequency - 10s RUT - 3 power - 1 power per pulse
    • Level 19 - Diminish Senses - 19% effectiveness debuff - 3s cast - 7s duration - 3s pulse frequency - 10s RUT - 9 power - 2 power per pulse
    • Level 29 - Abate Senses - 29% effectiveness debuff - 3s cast - 7s duration - 3s pulse frequency - 10s RUT - 14 power - 3 power per pulse
    • Level 39 - Banish Senses - 39% effectiveness debuff - 3s cast - 7s duration - 3s pulse frequency - 10s RUT - 19 power - 4 power per pulse
    • Level 47 - Devastate Senses - 47% effectiveness debuff - 3s cast - 7s duration - 3s pulse frequency - 10s RUT - 23 power - 5 power per pulse
  • The +Skill debuff has been returned to the Dementia specialization at the following levels and values:
    • Level 14 - Impress Dread - nullifies +skills from RR/items - 3s cast - 10s duration - 6 power
    • Level 26 - Impress Ambiguity - nullifies +skills RR/items - 3s cast - 15s duration - 12 power
    • Level 36 - Impress Confusion - nullifies +skills RR/items - 3s cast - 20s duration - 18 power
    • Level 46 - Impress Amnesia - nullifies +skills RR/items - 3s cast - 25s duration - 24 power
  • The level 48 claws in each specialization have had their power cost increased from 24 to 36.
  • The Summon Night’s Servant spell in Dementia specialization has had its power cost reduced from 250 to 200.
    • The hit-points of the pet have been increased slightly as well.
