Syndizzle's Basic Guide To Molvik


Hello and welcome to my guide where I will outline basic molvik information such as Max Level/Realm rank, Imbue on Spellcrafting, Quests, Items, and Specs.

Molvik is a battleground availiable to those of level 35 through 39 (at level 40/RR 3L0 you wont get "kicked" from the bg until you die AND release, Zone out, or LD). You are able to stay in the Molvik battleground by typing the command /xp off anytime before level 39 and /rp off before you hit 3L0 (2L9 or earlier). People stay in Molvik because it is more casual due to the smaller map, less time leveling/capped realm rank (No facing RR12s as a RR1)/and arguably cheaper/easier templating.

Although Molvik is more casual, it can be easily just as competitive, if not more, than higher level RvR. This is due to the ease of swapping setups due to less time being invested into getting toons to the molvik level compared to higher level zones. Also the time it takes to get back to the action is almost instantaneously due to a short rez sick timer and smaller zone.

The need for a buffbot is almost eliminated in this battleground due to the realm enhancer (19 gold 20 silver per full buff token). The enhancer grants you:

117 Strength
117 Constitution
117 Dexterity
70 Quickness
57 Acuity
46 Base AF
63 Spec AF
13% Haste


*These stats are only marginally off of what you can achieve with a max buff bonus buff bot.


Artifacts


The following artifacts are usuable in Molvik:

  • Gem Of Lost Memories (Rogue/Caster/Tank versions are available)
  • Ring Of Unyielding Will (The Hot/Snare use is very useful but be careful as the snare portion sets immunity)
  • Traldor's Oracle (Caster staff with a very useful group charge, although on a 30 minute timer)
  • Aten's Shield (Summons a powerful weapon you can use as well as having good stats itself)
  • Orion's Belt (Rp/Xp bonus belt with Cast/Melee Speed)

Notes:
-Pictish weapons (13.5 Dps are the ones that give you usable procs/uses) are a wise choice for weapons since they have /uses and dual procs which are extremely useful.
-A full suit of BP gear from the Molvik BP merchant will get you close to cap stats/resists needed for your class with the exception of ToA bonuses (cast speed/Melee dmg/etc).
The melee weapons have 123 spirit DD procs on them. The caster weapons have a 50% power replenish on a 5 minute reuse timer.
-Just about all the Diamond Darkness Falls Armor has stat caps on them as well if you're trying to temp for cheap.
-On your crafted armor you're going to want to imbue them with ablative reactive procs (lvl 35 ones).
-Crafted Weapons you want to use lvl 35 DD procs.



Stat Caps/ToA Bonuses


These are the availiable bonuses you're able to have templated into your suit.

  • You can get up to +20 stats cap on Str/Dex/Quick/Con/Acuity allowing you to achieve 78/78 stats (58/58 without any stats cap bonus)
  • Up to 156 hits cap availiable allowing you to get 312 total hits in template (156 without any hits cap)
  • 7% to ToA Bonuses (Casting Speed/Melee Combat Speed/Melee Dmg/Spell Pierce/Style Dmg/Magic Dmg) is max.
  • 19% to duration/power pool/Healing Effectiveness/Buff effectiveness

*you can increase power pool by templating power bonus cap


Spellcrafting

  • Dragonsworn hauberks are not restricted in any way. You can still do five point OC on them and they will always be usable in Molvik.
  • The above also applies to the DS hats with +2% magic damage.
  • Any piece with +40 hits or hits cap is limited to 35.0 imbue points.
  • Any Legendary weapon is limited to 31.5 imbue points.
  • Any other piece is limited to 34.5 imbue points, with the exception of no bonus pieces(lvl 51) which can obtain the full sc amount and still be usuable.


Mythirians


*You must be level 35 to use any of these mythirians and they cost 200 bounty points each.

  • Conqueror's Arcane Mythirian:
    3 Power Regen/1% Spell Range/6% Duration of Spells
  • Conqueror's Magic Mythirian:
    3 Power Regen/1% Magic Damage/2% Casting Speed

  • Conqueror's Mighty Mythirian:
    1 End Regen/1% Melee Combat Speed/2% Melee Damage
  • Conqueror's Curative Mythirian:
    8% Conc/7% Stat Buff/7% Healing Effec.
  • Conqueror's Variant Mythirian:
    4% Power Pool/2% Casting Speed/2% Melee Combat Speed
  • Conqueror's Enduring Mythirian:
    40% Death Experience Loss Reduction/10% Negative Effect Duration Reduced
  • Conqueror's Stalwart Mythirian:
    6% To hit bonus (PvE Only)/6% Defensive Bonus (PvE Only)/5 pt. style cost reduction(PvE Only)
  • Conqueror's Focal Mythirian:
    1 Mythical Spell Increase/Spell Power Cost Reduction (PvE Only)/2% Casting Speed

Quests


There are a total of 6 quests (5 repeatable) that you can receive from the captain, commander, and royal steward inside of the portal keep of your realm that reside to the right of the door.

3 are PvE that require you to:
  • Run to an enemy tower
  • Kill 8 skulking ghouls
  • Kill 8 Arawnites (Alb/Hib)/8 Trees (Mid)

These quests grant between 1-2 bubs of experience and 60 bounty points upon turning the completed quest back in to the commander. (Repeatable)

2 are RvR that require you to kill 5 of the opposing realms (2 seperate quests for each realm). These quests give about 2 bubs of experience and 100 bounty points. (Reapeatable)

1 Quest is to achieve realm rank 2L9 while in Molvik and you receive the title 'Protector of Molvik' as well as experience and bounty points. (One Time)


Specs


I will now go over some commonly used group specs for all the classes. These may not be the best but are a starting point on how to spec a class. I will also give a basic 2L9 RA spec.

Albion

  • Armsman
    34 Polearm/25 Crossbow/23 Shield/27 Weapon/5 Parry | Determination 6/Avoidance Of Magic 2/Long wind 1/Mastery of pain 1
    -25 Crossbow for the amazing ability snapshot which allows you to shoot your Xbow while moving! 34 Polearm for amazing anytime. 27 weapon to close in on composite. 23 Shield for backstun and parry for leftover.
    -You need staying power to peel/DPS which is why you get so high of det. Remaining points to help out with dps/mitigation.


  • Cabalist
    35 Body/11 Matter/12 Spirit Animation | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Aug Acuity 1/Wild Power 3/Mastery Of Magery 3/Aug Dex 3
    -I feel as if spirit spec isn't as strong as it is at higher levels and that the higher delve lifetap in body outweighs the debuff. 11 matter for the nearsight and rest in spirit for pet buffs.
    -I choose this RA spec as on pretty much all casters in molvik. Purge 1 is the only way to cleanse yourself of nearsight in molvik. LW1 to make sure you don't run out of endurance while sprinting.
    Unsure of breaking points in molvik but aug dex3 seems to do the job fine and the damage passives are pretty even for balanced DPS spread.


  • Cleric
    30 Rejuvination/24 Smiting/5 Enhancement | Purge 2/Dex 4/Long Wind 1/Wild Healing 1
    -Spread heal, decent heals, and decent DPS. make sure you're stunning appropriate targets and keeping your team alive!
    -This RA spec allows you cast faster and stay in the fight to heal more. Wild healing 1 is nice to unlock those crit heals.


  • Friar
    34 Staff/35 Enhancement/15 Rejuv/8 Parry | Static Tempest 1/Purge 1/Aug Dex 4/Wild Healing 1/Long Wind 1
    -Kinda a weak group class. Your timered buffs are useless but your melee and peels are subpar to other class. you can still be useful though, especially vs other tanks.
    -Static tempest is very useful in many situations along with purge. Dex for casting speed as well as dmg with wild healing for the crit heals.


  • Heretic
    37 Rejuvenation/33 Enhancement/23 Shield/3 weapon |Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Wild Healing 1/Wild Power 3/Mastery Of Magery 3/Aug Dex 3
    -A pure caster spec for a tic which is very strong in molvik. the only melee you're going to be doing is shield stunning.
    -I choose this RA spec as on pretty much all casters in molvik. Purge 1 is the only way to cleanse yourself of nearsight in molvik. LW1 to make sure you don't run out of endurance while sprinting.
    Unsure of breaking points in molvik but aug dex3 seems to do the job fine and the damage passives are pretty even for balanced DPS spread. Wild healing 1 for heal crits.


  • Infiltrator
    34 critical strike/30 stealth/30 Envenom/29 weapon | Viper 3/Mastery of Stealth 3
    -Once again, stealthers have several specs to be successful with but this one seems to be the best in and out spec to drop targets and gtfo.
    -RA spec helps with mobility and DPS via poison dmg.


  • Mauler
    29 Fist Wraps/30 Magnetism/22 Powerstrikes | Determination 6/Avoidance Of Magic 2/Long wind 1/Mastery of pain 1
    -As a mauker you're just there to peel pretty much. Very under played class but is very useful vs other tank groups.
    -You need to stay in the fight to peel which is why Det is high. Remaining points to help with mitigation/dps.


  • Mercenary
    39 Dual Wield/30 Weapon/23 Shield | Charge 3/Long Wind 2
    -Max DW to maximize damage, 23 shield for the rear stun, and 30 weapon so you achieve composite.
    -Straight forward charge tank RA spec for molvik. Charge on a low cooldown and longwind 2 so you dont run out of end sprinting around and styling.


  • Minstrel
    36 Instruments/32 Sword | Speed Of Sound 2/Long Wind 1/Wild Power 3/Wild Minion 3
    -Unless you're stealth grouping or climbing towers, stealth isn't as useful as higher weapon/instruments. You get best availiable single target mez and decent weapon damage.
    -You don't need purge since you can break roots/mezzes with your song charmed pet. Majority of your dps comes from shouts and your pet so WP and WM are very useful.


  • Necromancer
    39 Deathsight | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Aug Acuity 1/Wild Power 3/Mastery Of Magery 3/Aug Dex 3
    -Best lifetaps availiable and sick af debuff. Remember to use the low level pet that are immune to CC. Don't get near anything that might bug out your pet or you're screwed! (towers and ck can bug it out)
    -I choose this RA spec as on pretty much all casters in molvik. Purge 1 is the only way to cleanse yourself of nearsight in molvik. LW1 to make sure you don't run out of endurance while sprinting.
    Unsure of breaking points in molvik but aug dex3 seems to do the job fine and the damage passives are pretty even for balanced DPS spread.


  • Paladin
    34 Two Handed/32 Chants/13 Shield/28 Weapon/5 Parry | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Aug Str 1/Determination 5/Aug Pain 2
    -This spec grants you decent DPs with almost composite weapon as well as the best 2h anytime. It also grants you top end celerity for molvik as well as a small stun in shield. Parry is leftover.
    -Staying power if what tanks needs and Det+Purge gives it to you. Leftover points into dps augments.


  • Reaver
    34 Flexible/35 Soulrending/23 Shield/13 Parry | Charge 3/Long Wind 2
    -Get your OP anytime, your best pulses, nice back stun and some parry with leftover points.
    -Straight forward charge tank RA spec for molvik. Charge on a low cooldown and longwind 2 so you dont run out of end sprinting around and styling.


  • Scout
    37 Archery/30 Stealth/21 Slash/18 Shield | Mastery Of Stealth 5/Aug Dex 2/Falcon's Eye 2/Long wind 1
    -Best Standard shot, composite stealth, side snare in slash and off block stun. Optimized snipe spec. Melee only to land a stun/snare to gain distance to snipe.
    -As snipe spec you need to see other stealthers which is why MoS5 is handy. Lw1 because you will be kiting. FE/Dex for damage.


  • Sorcerer
    30 Body/24 Mind | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Aug Acuity 1/Wild Power 3/Mastery Of Magery 3/Aug Dex 3
    -Although this spec can give you some annoying resists on the AoE mez, the AoE root is extremely useful and the dps aint half bad with this spec. This is the only spec i recommend unless you're running two sorcs, or more than a small man.
    -I choose this RA spec as on pretty much all casters in molvik. Purge 1 is the only way to cleanse yourself of nearsight in molvik. LW1 to make sure you don't run out of endurance while sprinting.
    Unsure of breaking points in molvik but aug dex3 seems to do the job fine and the damage passives are pretty even for balanced DPS spread.


  • Theurgist
    35 Air/16 Cold/5 Earth | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Aug Acuity 1/Wild Power 3/Mastery Of Magery 3/Aug Dex 3
    -You can really get away with any main line spec in molvik on a theurgist. This one is more DPS oriented with the aoe root from Cold. Pet appropriate targets, nuke, repeat.
    -I choose this RA spec as on pretty much all casters in molvik. Purge 1 is the only way to cleanse yourself of nearsight in molvik. LW1 to make sure you don't run out of endurance while sprinting.
    Unsure of breaking points in molvik but aug dex3 seems to do the job fine and the damage passives are pretty even for balanced DPS spread.


  • Wizard
    33 Fire/20 Earth/4 Cold | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Aug Acuity 1/Wild Power 3/Mastery Of Magery 3/Aug Dex 3
    -I prefer the DPS loss of sacrificing some fire spec for the ability to nearsight. Nearsight is easily one of the most OP skills in molvik. You can drop earth to go 37 in fire to maximize DPS.
    -I choose this RA spec as on pretty much all casters in molvik. Purge 1 is the only way to cleanse yourself of nearsight in molvik. LW1 to make sure you don't run out of endurance while sprinting.
    Unsure of breaking points in molvik but aug dex3 seems to do the job fine and the damage passives are pretty even for balanced DPS spread.


Hibernia

  • Animist
    39 Arboreal Path | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Aug Acuity 1/Wild Power 3/Mastery Of Magery 3/Aug Dex 3
    -I see this as the only path i would play as an animist in molvik. It give you the highest level bomber and outweighs the utility gained in other lines.
    -I choose this RA spec as on pretty much all casters in molvik. Purge 1 is the only way to cleanse yourself of nearsight in molvik. LW1 to make sure you don't run out of endurance while sprinting.
    Unsure of breaking points in molvik but aug dex3 seems to do the job fine and the damage passives are pretty even for balanced DPS spread.


  • Bainshee
    35 Ethereal Shriek/16 Spectral Force | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Aug Acuity 1/Wild Power 3/Mastery Of Magery 3/Aug Dex 3
    -This spec gives you the highest AoE bolt and sub specced in SF to reduce variance in your baseline nuke.
    -I choose this RA spec as on pretty much all casters in molvik. Purge 1 is the only way to cleanse yourself of nearsight in molvik. LW1 to make sure you don't run out of endurance while sprinting.
    Unsure of breaking points in molvik but aug dex3 seems to do the job fine and the damage passives are pretty even for balanced DPS spread.


  • Bard
    33 Nurture/30 Music/15 Regrowth | Purge 1/SoS1/Dex4/LW1/Wild Healing 1
    -This Spec gives you Single target instant mez (no AoE instant), Yellow Songs (exception being healing), and some "alright heals" Spec af is worse than realm enhancer, so be sure to grab that insteado f your own.
    -You can sacrifice the Aug dex for higher purge/SoS but you cast so slow in molvik as a bard that i like to have the extra dex. The longwind is so you can perma sprint with your self end if you choose to run speed/power song.


  • Blademaster
    39 Celtic Dual/30 Weapon/23 Shield | Charge 3/Long Wind 2
    -Max CD to maximize damage, 23 shield for the rear stun, and 30 weapon so you achieve composite.
    -Straight forward charge tank RA spec for molvik. Charge on a low cooldown and longwind 2 so you dont run out of end sprinting around and styling.


  • Champion
    34 Large Weapons/39 Valor/18 Shield | Long wind 1/Static tempest 1/Purge 1/Determination 4
    -The spec gives you anytime in LW, the last str/con debuff, and a little shield for some positional stuns. Your goal as a champion is to be annoying to the opposing realms.
    -Purge 1/Det4 gives you decent staying power in fights as you can easily be CCed out otherwise. Static tempest is a great tool and can be used defensively and offensively.


  • Druid
    32 Regrowth/22 nature Affinity | Purge 2/Dex 4/Long Wind 1/Wild Healing 1
    -High heals and a decent pet. Pretty self explanatory. Dont think you're just a healing machine, template duration and throw out some roots as well as putting your pet on an appropriate target.
    -This RA spec allows you cast faster and stay in the fight to heal more. Wild healing 1 is nice to unlock those crit heals.


  • Eldritch
    35 light/16 mana/5 void | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Aug Acuity 1/Wild Power 3/Mastery Of Magery 3/Aug Dex 3
    -You get the last DD availiable in molvik and Aoe disease in mana line. This line allows the most utility as well as steady dps.
    -I choose this RA spec as on pretty much all casters in molvik. Purge 1 is the only way to cleanse yourself of nearsight in molvik. LW1 to make sure you don't run out of endurance while sprinting.
    Unsure of breaking points in molvik but aug dex3 seems to do the job fine and the damage passives are pretty even for balanced DPS spread.


  • Enchanter
    35 Light/15 Enchantments/7 Mana | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Aug Acuity 1/Wild Power 3/Mastery Of Magery 3/Aug Dex 3
    -Light is better in molvik due to high delved ranged dd. you also get a very useful haste debuff. Sub enhancement for pet buffs and rest in mana for first PBAOE (popping stealthers) -I choose this RA spec as on pretty much all casters in molvik. Purge 1 is the only way to cleanse yourself of nearsight in molvik. LW1 to make sure you don't run out of endurance while sprinting.
    Unsure of breaking points in molvik but aug dex3 seems to do the job fine and the damage passives are pretty even for balanced DPS spread.


  • Hero
    34 LW or Celtic Spear/35 Shield/24 Weapon/6 Parry | Determination 6/Avoidance Of Magic 2/Long wind 1/Mastery of pain 1
    -34 LW/CS for the anytime, 35 shield for the 8 second sidestun, you sacrifice some composite weapon for higher shield which is a fair trade, and the rest into parry.
    -You need staying power to peel/DPS which is why you get so high of det. Remaining points to help out with dps/mitigation.


  • Mauler
    29 Fist Wraps/30 Magnetism/22 Powerstrikes | Determination 6/Avoidance Of Magic 2/Long wind 1/Mastery of pain 1
    -As a mauker you're just there to peel pretty much. Very under played class but is very useful vs other tank groups.
    -You need to stay in the fight to peel which is why Det is high. Remaining points to help with mitigation/dps.


  • Mentalist
    34 Mentalist/18 Mana/5 Light | Long Wind 1/Purge 1/Static Tempest 1/Wild Healing 1/Aug Dex 4
    -In a group you're more of a support caster so higher mentalist is the way to go with sub mana for the nearsight/debuff.
    -Static tempest is too useful to pass up and worth losing your dps passives since you're dps isn't that great to begin with. Purge is useful in just about any situation. Wild healing 1 for the crits.


  • Nightshade
    34 Crit Strike/30 Stealth/30 Envenom/19 Weapons | Viper 3/Mastery Of Stealth 3
    -I can go on for days about stealther specs for different situations/playstyles but i feel this one gives you the best "in and out" method, meaning that maximize burst DPS so you can drop people out of groups and gtfo. Just one of the many you can choose.
    -Complimenting the spec, this gives you mobility with the MoS and DPs with the viper.


  • Ranger
    30 Stealth/37 Archery/18 Celtic Dual/21 Piercing | Mastery Of Stealth 5/Aug Dex 2/Falcon's Eye 2/Long wind 1
    -This is a decent sniper spec granting you composite stealth, the final standard shot, the side stun in celtic dual, and a nice side snare in piercing. you should only be engaging in melee to snare/stun so you can snipe more.
    -As snipe spec you need to see other stealthers which is why MoS5 is handy. Lw1 because you will be kiting. FE/Dex for damage.


  • Valewalker
    34 Scythe/32 Arborial Path/7 Parry | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Wild Power 1/Determination 5/Aug dex 2
    -Pretty generic group spec. Decent dmg with nukes and the best styles availiable in molvik. Parry is leftover points. Also when you're using your spells to interrupt, use the lower level ones so they don't receive immunity and have a higher chance to resist it.
    -Valewalker RAs can be tricky. But with purge 1/det5 you escape being out of the fight too long. a little dex to help with casting as well as WP1 to unlock crits on your lifetaps.


  • Vampiir
    34 Pierce/29 Vampiric Embrace/14 Dementia/6 Shadow Mastery |Charge 3/Long Wind 2
    -Too many specs to list for a vamp but this one gives you best anytime style/decent WS/Claw/Fumble/magic and melee resists/skill debuff as well as a low level end tap.
    -Straight forward charge tank RA spec for molvik. Charge on a low cooldown and longwind 2 so you dont run out of end sprinting around and styling.


  • Warden
    32 Regrowth/36 Nurture/15 Shield/10 Blades | Purge 1/Mystical Crystal Lore 1 or Raging Power/Wild Healing 1/Aug Dex 2/Long Wind 1
    -Peeling and Healing baby. You're job is to mainly stay back field and throw out fat heals and when kids fly in, you peel them with shield stuns and blades side snare. Your PBT is high level and very useful.
    You will run in to power problems so be wary of your power pool.
    -MCL/Raging power help with the power problems. Purge is always useful and wild healing will help with heal crits.

Midgard

  • Beserker
    39 Left Axe/34 weapon/18 Parry | Charge 3/Long Wind 2
    -Max LA for the dmg, 34 weapon so you can anytime with a 2h, parry for leftover.
    -Straight forward charge tank RA spec for molvik. Charge on a low cooldown and longwind 2 so you dont run out of end sprinting around and styling.


  • Bonedancer
    38 Bonearmy/8 Suppression |Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Wild Minion 1/Wild Power 3/Mastery Of Magery 3/Aug Dex 3
    -Bonearmy is crazy overpowered in molvik. Buff pets ----> send them on pretty much anything and it's going to die. Dot stuff as well and nuke with sup nuke for burst.
    -I choose this RA spec as on pretty much all casters in molvik. Purge 1 is the only way to cleanse yourself of nearsight in molvik. LW1 to make sure you don't run out of endurance while sprinting.

  • Healer
    29 Pacification/18 Augmentation/18 Mending | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Mastery Of Concentration 1/Wild healing 1/Aug Dex 4
    -Well rounded spec that does well in both tank/caster groups. Also does well as the only healer in group.
    -Purge for nearsight or if you lose initial cc, MoC for demezzes and emergencies, and dex for casting speed.


  • Hunter
    37 Archery/29 Stealth/20 Beastcraft/21 Spear/13 Left Over Points | Mastery Of Stealth 5/Aug Dex 2/Falcon's Eye 2/Long wind 1
    -You actually have to give up a point in stealth to get the side snare in spear but you need it just in case. Use that dog as needed and snipe kids.
    -As snipe spec you need to see other stealthers which is why MoS5 is handy. Lw1 because you will be kiting. FE/Dex for damage.


  • Mauler
    29 Fist Wraps/30 Magnetism/22 Powerstrikes | Determination 6/Avoidance Of Magic 2/Long wind 1/Mastery of pain 1
    -As a mauker you're just there to peel pretty much. Very under played class but is very useful vs other tank groups.
    -You need to stay in the fight to peel which is why Det is high. Remaining points to help with mitigation/dps.


  • Runemaster
    37 Runecarving/12 Suppression | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Aug Acuity 1/Wild Power 3/Mastery Of Magery 3/Aug Dex 3
    -Top tier bolt for molvik and no variance in your spec line nuke (not worth debuff nuking in molvik unless you're running a cold train). Also grey nearsight from sub spec suppression. -I choose this RA spec as on pretty much all casters in molvik. Purge 1 is the only way to cleanse yourself of nearsight in molvik. LW1 to make sure you don't run out of endurance while sprinting.
    Unsure of breaking points in molvik but aug dex3 seems to do the job fine and the damage passives are pretty even for balanced DPS spread.


  • Savage
    30 Hand to Hand/36 Savagery/6 Parry | Charge 3/Long Wind 2
    -Decent styles and composite in H2H and a decent assortment and level of buffs in the savagery line. Parry is left over points.
    -Straight forward charge tank RA spec for molvik. Charge on a low cooldown and longwind 2 so you dont run out of end sprinting around and styling.


  • Shadowblade
    30 Stealth/34 Critstrike/30 Poison/19 Weapon | Viper 3/Mastery Of Stealth 3
    -Once again, a pretty basic hit and run spec that maximizes in burst dps. Plenty of other specs to go, this is just one.
    -Mobility and DPS via poisons, pretty basic yet effective setup.


  • Shaman
    25 Mending/29 Cave Magic/21 remaining points | Purge 1/Mastery Of Concentration 1/Aug Dex 4/Wild Power 1/Long Wind 1
    -Your job as a shaman is to interrupt and back up heal. Disease, disease, disease!
    -Stay in the game as best as possible. This ra setup lets you purge CC and MoC disease when under pressure. Dex to help casting speed and wild power for DoT crits.


  • Skald
    34 Battlesongs/32 Hammer/7 Parry | Purge 1/Speed of Sound 2/Long Wind 1/Wild Power 2/Mastery of Pain 1
    - Pretty much *THE* spec for a skald. Great anytime, best speed, good DDs. Can't ask for anything more.
    - Just like any speed class you need SoS and purge helps out in many situations. wild power for your dds.


  • Spiritmaster
    34 Suppression/18 Summoning/5 Darkness | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Aug Acuity 1/Wild Power 3/Mastery Of Magery 3/Aug Dex 3
    -I like this spec over darkness because you get cure mes and the best PBAOE as well as your baseline suppression nuke doing some decent damage. Sub summoning for pet buffs. -I choose this RA spec as on pretty much all casters in molvik. Purge 1 is the only way to cleanse yourself of nearsight in molvik. LW1 to make sure you don't run out of endurance while sprinting.

  • Thane
    38 Stormcalling/32 Hammer/23 Shield | Static Tempest 1/Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Wild Power 1/Aug Dex 4
    -Truly a hybrid spec. You get the best ranged dd and an anytime with a decent dd proc attached to it. You also get a shield stun. A good all around spec.
    -Static tempest for offense or defense. Purge for clearing CC or nearsight. Wild power for crits and aug dex for casting speed (you really need it)


  • Valkyrie
    36 Sword/23 Shield/31 Mending/13 Odin's Will/5 Parry | Charge 3/Long Wind 1/Wild Healing 1/Mastery Of Pain 2
    -High heals, High heals, shield back stun, and a little parry. You're using odin's will in this spec as pure interrupts instead of dps/utility. Careful with mending this high, your power pool will deplete fast.
    -Charge 3 for short timer, long wind for perma sprint and wild healing to unlock those crit heals. Mastery of pain for extra dps.


  • Warlock
    37 Cursing/12 hexing | Purge 1/Long Wind 1/Aug Acuity 1/Wild Power 3/Mastery Of Magery 3/Aug Dex 3
    - All specs work in molvik but cursing gives you nearsight which is highly valued. Plus you get huge burst damage at both close and far range. Sub hexing for the Un-interruptable cast and extra chamber (total of 3)
    -I choose this RA spec as on pretty much all casters in molvik. Purge 1 is the only way to cleanse yourself of nearsight in molvik. LW1 to make sure you don't run out of endurance while sprinting.

    39 Weapon/35 Shield/18 Parry | Determination 6/Avoidance Of Magic 2/Long wind 1/Mastery of pain 1
    -This is a basic max dps/peel spec. you can actually drop parry and run composite weapon if you choose to run split spec for dual damage types.
    -You need staying power to peel/DPS which is why you get so high of det. Remaining points to help out with dps/mitigation.
