Character and Guild Search Update

The Character and Guild Search feature should once again be updating your characters' and guilds' statistics! Please note that it may take several hours for the process to work its way through all characters and guilds so please check back later if you do not see your updated stats immediately.

Additionally, we have some new notes for the search feature:
  • Search results will now include archived characters and servers.
    • A small icon will appear next to the name to denote an archived character.
  • The cluster drop down now displays the servers contained in each cluster to help returning users find their characters.
  • A link has been added to the bottom of the results to direct players to the Returning Players Guide.

Live Server Downtime - Patch 1.118 and Herald Character Search

Update 12:55 PM EST: Live servers are now online!

We are pleased to announce that Patch 1.118 is here!

Live servers will be coming down Tuesday, July 14th at 5:45 AM EST / 10:45 AM GMT

This downtime will also correct the RvR statistics not updating on the Herald's Character and Guild search feature. Additionally, we're pleased to announce that after the downtime, players will be able to search for characters on the Archived servers as well! This should help those returning players track down which server(s) their old characters were on!

Guild Autopromote Update

The Guild Autopromote system has been disabled for the past several weeks. This system will be re-enabled on Thursday, July 9th. 

For more information on how this system functions and on our entire Guild Maintenance Policy, check the wiki article HERE.

Please note that when this system is re-enabled, emails will be retroactively sent out requesting inactive guild leaders to login their characters so that they are not demoted. If you receive one of these emails and have logged in within 30 days on the character(s) referenced, you can ignore the email.

Characters that have not been logged in recently will be immediately demoted when the feature is re-enabled. If you have a character that is currently a guildmaster that you fear may not have logged in within the past 30 days, we highly advise logging them on between now and Thursday to avoid demotion.
 

Relic Issue Fix And Holiday Bonus Extension

Friends and Realm mates,

Recently, an issue with the Relics has resulted in players being able to pick up and capture a Relic without completing the required unlocking process. This issue has been fixed, and to deploy the fix - all Relics must be reset to their home shrines. 

July 4th Weekend Bonuses

The July 4th weekend is here! In celebration, we have the following bonuses to crafting, experience, realm, and bounty points!

The following bonuses will be live from Thursday, July 2nd until next Monday, July 6th.

On Ywain:
50% bonus to RP gain in all NF zones (including The Labyrinth)
100% bonus to RP gain in Darkness Falls
100% bonus to normal XP gain in all classic zones and dungeons.
200% bonus to normal XP gain in Darkness Falls.
100% bonus to normal BP in all NF zones.

On Gaheris:
100% bonus to normal XP gain in all classic zones and dungeons.
200% bonus to normal XP gain in Darkness Falls.
100% bonus to normal BP gain in the capital cities.
100% bonus to normal RP gain in the capital cities.

In each Capital City:
40% Bonus to Crafting Speed
20% Bonus to Crafting Skill Gain

In all Housing Zones:
20% Bonus to Crafting Speed
10% Bonus to Crafting Skill Gain

Live Developer Q&A Summaries

Pendragon Server Downtime

UPDATE 5:05pm EST: Pendragon is now back online. 1.118b patch notes can be found HERE!

The Pendragon server will be coming down today, June 25th, at 2pm EST / 7pm GMT, for an update.

The test server should be back online by 6:30pm EST / 11:30pm GMT.

Don't forget we also have a Live Dev Q & A at 7pm EST tonight to discuss the Otherworlds Campaign as well as 1.118b's changes. The stream will be accessible HERE!

Want to hop over to Pendragon to help test? Read the Pendragon Character Copy FAQ! Also, we highly recommend creating a separate game directory when testing Pendragon as patching between Live and Test servers will sometimes result in file discrepencies. If you do run across any issues when patching back to live, try deleting the mft.myp file in your game's directory and running the patcher again.
