1.126 Pendragon Test-Server Patch Notes
Endless Conquest
Endless Conquest restrictions and features are now enabled on the Pendragon test server. However, account-eligibility for Endless Conquest will not be enabled until Patch 1.126 reaches the live servers.
- Endless Conquest replaces the original 14-day free trial and allows play (with some restrictions) for free without an end date!
-
Newly created accounts and previously subscribed accounts that have been inactive for 180+ days, are in good standing, and have been linked to an EA account are eligible for Endless Conquest.
- Accounts that had their most recent subscription period end prior to May 18th, 2008 will need to first link their game account with an EA account via the Account Center and then verify their ownership before being able to return for Endless Conquest.
- Eligible accounts will receive an email informing them that they may access Endless Conquest on the live launch date!
- For more information regarding Endless Conquest’s features and restrictions, please view our FAQ and Features Table!

King’s Gear Update
-
The free sets of class-specific armor and Exemplar accessories obtained from the King at level 50 have had their stats greatly improved.
- When equipping the King’s armor and the Exemplar accessories and weapon characters should see 122/122 to their “main” stats of constitution, strength and/or dexterity and/or acuity, 6-8% to all 10% TOA bonuses, 25% to all resists, and 550/600 hit points.
- The existing armor procs have been reduced slightly to compensate for the stat increases and accessories are still meant to be without any /uses.
- Along with these changes, several classes have been given rebalanced sets that accommodate them for their more ‘hybrid’ roles. This generally means an increase in their stats.
- Exemplar accessory delves have been updated to better direct players to which ones to equip on which class.
- Characters who previously received but no longer have their King’s armor can purchase a Champion Armor Replacement Voucher from Quartermaster Mills, Quartermaster Dreiki, or Quartermaster Kindrey in their realm’s throne room to obtain the armor again.
Progression Changes
-
The base experience gained from monster kills has been halved for all account types.
- Quest-based experience remains unchanged.
- Veteran accounts still receive zone bonus rewards, which have been increased by 25% in most zones, so will still see a 50-75% experience increase from the new base levels.
- Endless Conquest accounts should expect to take 10-20 hours of typical gameplay to reach level 50, assuming no use of Mithril Shop experience bonuses.
-
The base realm points, bounty points, and experience gained from player kills has been halved for Endless Conquest accounts.
- Quest-based realm point or bounty point rewards remain unchanged.
-
Rested XP and its associated mechanics have been removed.
- The /rested command has been disabled.
-
Free levels and its associated mechanics have been removed.
- The /freelevel command has been removed.
-
Characters no longer lose experience on death and no longer spawn gravestones.
- The /pray command has been disabled.
- The /level command has been disabled.
-
All Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and Commander quests are disabled.
- Their quests may still be completed if pending.
-
Bounty Master Insight scrolls are no longer usable by sub-level 50 characters and have had their bounty point cost doubled as they are now only meant for obtaining Champion Level XP.
- Note: Endless Conquest account characters cannot use these scrolls.
New User Journey and Battleground Quest Changes
- The tutorial area [Journey] quests have had the number of mobs required for completion significantly reduced.
- All town “hub” quests now have a [Location] adjective ([Cotswold], [Mularn], etc.) in their quest name easier to find in the Quest Journal.
-
All town “hub” quests have had the level required to obtain them reduced by 1.
- This should increase the number of quests players can initially accept in each town and will overall increase the rate of leveling when following these New User Journey quests.
-
Quest map markers and NPC knots should now all show up correctly during the New User Journey.
- NOTE: Custom UIs may need to update their map_window.xml to correctly see the quest finisher icons.
-
At level 35-49 all characters will now be prompted to accept the [Journey] Continuation quest on login.
- This quest will direct players to the Battlegrounds, TOA for the new Bounty Quests, the Arbiter for Master Levels, to Darkness Falls, and otherwise direct them towards reaching level 50.
- Additional quests are available from the “hub” commanders in Snowdonia Fortress, Vindsaul Faste, and Druim Cain that direct players to other relevant level 35-49 content.
-
At level 50 all non-CL15 and non-ML10 characters will be prompted to accept the [Journey] Culmination quest on login.
- This quest will direct players to visit their King for their free set of gear, embark on the Darkness Falls quests, Otherworlds and Dragon’s Curse campaigns, to the Supplies for the Cause quest in the Frontiers, to Bountycrafting, and to ultimately reach Master Level 10 and Champion Level 15.
- This quest can also be obtained directly from the King’s in each realm and will only prompt characters that are ineligible or have already completed the ‘[Returning Player]’ and ‘[Monthly] Thank You’ quests on login.
-
All Battleground quests have had their experience rewards reduced, for several reasons:
- We want players to spend more time learning and leveling their classes than the current rates.
- With Endless Conquest, we want players to be able to level up or RvR in the battlegrounds without hitting the level cap too quickly to enjoy the BG.
- Level 35+ battlegrounds have had their quest XP reduced but it has not been reduced by as much as lower level battlegrounds in order to maintain a reasonable leveling rate in them.
Alternate Currency Consolidation
-
The major alternate currencies no longer drop and are now largely replaced with bounty points instead.
-
This change is intended to both increase the rate of bounty point gain and to simplify the game’s reward structure.
- With this change it should be much easier and faster to acquire Bountycraft gear.
-
Existing alternate currency stores will remain and Veteran accounts can use their already-obtained currency to continue to purchase from them and trade those items if applicable.
- Note: Endless Conquest accounts cannot redeem Blood Seals, Aurulite, Dragon Scales, or Atlantean Glass at their stores nor use the Alternate Currency Conversion NPC.
-
This change is intended to both increase the rate of bounty point gain and to simplify the game’s reward structure.
-
Darkness Falls seals currency:
-
All emerald, sapphire, diamond, and blood seals have been replaced with 1 bounty point, 10 bounty point, 100 bounty point, and 2000 bounty points, respectively.
- These bounty point amounts are auto-split like an item reward but upon auto-splitting simply award that character with the specified BP amounts.
-
All [Darkness] quests received from Mystemas in Darkness Falls now grant a hefty bounty point reward for their completion.
- Repeatable High Lords quest awards 5,000 BPs, Lilith and Beliathan 15,000 BPs each, and Legion 25,000 BPs
- One-time Prince and Grand Chancellor quests award 15,000 BPs each.
- Endless Conquest accounts may redeem items from Emerald, Sapphire, and Diamond stores but may not convert Emerald, Sapphire, or Diamond seals.
-
All emerald, sapphire, diamond, and blood seals have been replaced with 1 bounty point, 10 bounty point, 100 bounty point, and 2000 bounty points, respectively.
-
Aurulite currency:
-
All Dragon’s Curse 1-6 and 8-10 chapter quests and [Elite] quests now grant 15,000 BPs (Chapter 7 grants 25,000 BPs) as well as a chance to get an additional 5,000 or 15,000 BPs from Chapter 9 & 10 instance encounter loot chests
- In total the Dragon’s Curse campaign awards 160,000 BPs for completing the chapter quests and another 50,000 BPs for completing the [Elite] quests!
- All aurulite drops and quest rewards have been removed.
-
All Dragon’s Curse 1-6 and 8-10 chapter quests and [Elite] quests now grant 15,000 BPs (Chapter 7 grants 25,000 BPs) as well as a chance to get an additional 5,000 or 15,000 BPs from Chapter 9 & 10 instance encounter loot chests
-
Dragon scales currency:
- All dragon scale currency rewards and drops have been wholesale removed and not replaced with any bounty point drops.
-
Atlantean glass currency:
-
All "glass" quests now give bounty points as follows and are now referred to as “Bounty” quests:
- 500 BPs are given for each level 30+ Bounty quest completion.
- 1,000 BPs are given for each 40+ Bounty quest completion.
- 5,000 BPs are given for each 45+ Bounty quest completion except for Inarus’, Sudari’s, and Eliana’s Bounty quests which award 15,000 BPs per completion.
- In total, characters will earn 116,500 BPs for completing the entire quest chain.
- Additionally, the repeatable Inarus' Bounty, Sudari's Bounty, and Eliana's Bounty quests are now only Weekly-repeatable and grant 15,000 BPs for each completion.
- All artifact and Master Level encounters now grant the equivalent BPs to what their glass drops used to be (100, 200, 500, or 1,000 BPs).
- All glass rewards or drops have been wholesale removed.
-
All "glass" quests now give bounty points as follows and are now referred to as “Bounty” quests:
- Shrouded Isles epic fragment currencies (Souls, Ice, and Roots) still drop as normal but also cannot be redeemed by Endless Conquest accounts.
Economy Changes
-
Master Level tokens listed for sale on Demyphon and the Atlantean Glass merchants have been changed as follows:
- All 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 to 1.10, etc. encounter tokens have been removed.
- Only the full ML1, ML2, ML3, to ML10 encounter tokens are for sale now.
-
Costs for ML tokens have been increased to the following amounts for both BPs and glass:
- Master Level 1 Encounter Credit – 25,000 BPs/glass
- Master Level 2 Encounter Credit – 25,000 BPs/glass
- Master Level 3 Encounter Credit – 55,000 BPs/glass
- Master Level 4 Encounter Credit – 45,000 BPs/glass
- Master Level 5 Encounter Credit – 30,000 BPs/glass
- Master Level 6 Encounter Credit – 50,000 BPs/glass
- Master Level 7 Encounter Credit – 35,000 BPs/glass
- Master Level 8 Encounter Credit – 50,000 BPs/glass
- Master Level 9 Encounter Credit – 60,000 BPs/glass
- Master Level 10 Encounter Credit – 75,000 BPs/glass
- Complete Master Level 1-10 Credit – 450,000 BPs/glass
- This change is intended to increase the effort required to obtain Master Level 10 slightly given the newly increased BP rewards and alternate currency consolidation changes.
-
Previously purchased ML tokens can still be turned in by Veteran accounts and are tradable; all new ML tokens for sale are no longer tradable (Veteran accounts can still trade the glass currency).
- The “Full Master Level Token” is also still obtainable via the Silver-bound and up chests and is still tradable and redeemable by Veteran accounts.
-
Bounty point costs for artifact encounters have been increased by 5 times. Scroll prices remain unchanged.
- Atlantean glass Artifact and Scroll merchants have been wholesale removed.
- Battlefield potions have had their cost increased from 25,000 to 75,000 aurulite.
-
The Grand Merchant and Quartermaster Mills, Quartermaster Dreiki, and Quartermaster Kindrey found in each realm’s throne rooms have had their stores consolidated onto the Quartermasters.
- The Grand Merchant NPCs have been removed.
-
The stores are now gated as follows:
- Page 1: Sells Champion Armor Replacement Voucher and can be accessed by all
- Page 2: Sells various horses, star of destiny and weapon burnishes and can only be accessed by Veteran account CL5+ characters.
- Page 3: Sells additional horses including the Kelpie, Clockwork, and Arboreal vouchers and can only be accessed by Veteran account CL10+ characters.
- Page 4: Sells the remaining mount vouchers and can only be accessed by Veteran account CL15+ characters.
-
The Chestnut Horse now costs 10 platinum when purchased via the Quartermaster’s Aide in the throne room and can be purchased by Endless Conquest
- Free horses can be obtained via the New User Journey quests.
-
Existing cloth, leather, and enamel dyes have had their prices increased to account for in-game economy inflation as follows:
- 24 silver or less dyes increased to 30 gold
- 25 silver dyes increased to 50 gold
- 6 gold dyes increased to 100 gold
- 30 gold dyes increased to 250 gold
- Weapon Burnishes increased from 250 gold to 1.25 platinum
- Crafted dye and weapon luster material costs remain unchanged.
-
Bounty Master Insight scrolls are no longer usable by sub-level 50 characters and have had their bounty point cost doubled as they are now only meant for obtaining Champion Level XP.
- Note: Endless Conquest account characters cannot use these scrolls.
Omni Dyes
-
Introducing Omni Dyes!
- Omni dyes can be applied to any dyable armor, shield, instrument, cloak, weapon, saddle, horse armor, or barding without the typical dye restrictions found on cloth, leather, and enamel dyes.
- Omni dyes cover all existing dye tints, including weapon-specific dye colors that were previously unavailable for use on armor and also introduce some entirely new colors including Burnt Orange and Fuschia!
- Endless Conquest accounts cannot use existing cloth dyes, leather dyes, enamels, weapon lusters, or burnishes but CAN use omni dyes.
-
Omni dyes can be purchased at the new Mithril Shop ‘Dye Merchant’ NPC in each realm’s capital city!
- All omni dye colors can be purchased with mithril aside from the Light Blue, Light Red, Light Green, Light Yellow, and Light Brown that can be purchased with gold on existing dye merchants.
-
Dye merchants across the land have had their stores updated as follows:
- First page of cloth dyes now sell Light Blue, Light Red, Light Green, Light Yellow, and Light Brown omni dyes for gold. These are the only omni dye colors available for purchase via gold.
- The second, third, and fourth pages have consolidated the existing cloth and leather dye offerings and can only be accessed by Veteran accounts.
- Enamel dye merchant pages remain unchanged but can also only be accessed by Veteran accounts.
-
Several naming conventions for existing dyes have been adjusted so that it is more clear what color is associated with the dye across weapons and armors:
- Golden weapon luster is now named yellow weapon luster
- Blue weapon luster is now ocean blue weapon luster
- Red weapon luster is now light red weapon luster
- Forest green weapon luster is now deep-forest green weapon luster
- Flame Weapon Burnish is now named Rust Colored Weapon Burnish
-
To reiterate, their colors have not been changed, only their names.
- For instance, the Golden Weapon Luster uses the same tint as the Yellow cloth/leather/enamel dye and Yellow Omni dye, so its name has been normalized across all versions.
-
Existing cloth, leather, and enamel dyes have had their prices increased to account for in-game economy inflation as follows:
- 24 silver or less dyes increased to 30 gold
- 25 silver dyes increased to 50 gold
- 6 gold dyes increased to 100 gold
- 30 gold dyes increased to 250 gold
- Weapon Burnishes increased from 250 gold to 1.25 platinum
- Crafted dye and weapon luster material costs remain unchanged.

Veteran Rewards are obtained from the Royal Treasury NPC found in either the throne room or just outside the throne room in each realm’s capital city.
- Census Overseer NPCs are disabled and removed. The Royal Treasurer can now be found in their place.
-
Veteran Rewards are selected on a per account basis. That means if your account is eligible for 5 years worth of rewards, and you use 1 character to make 1 choice, all other characters on the account will only have 4 choices left.
- The Royal Treasury NPC will count down and inform you of how many choices you have left when you interact with him.
-
When obtaining rewards, please READ THE QUESTS CAREFULLY, as they cannot be removed once accepted.
- Once a quest is accepted, simply speak with the Royal Treasurer again to complete the selection of that year’s rewards.
- ALL Veteran Rewards are tradable but cannot be used or redeemed by Endless Conquest
-
All “EU” accounts (read: accounts that have the _EU appended to the end of the game account name) that transitioned from GOA to Mythic have been given credit for +4 years of subscription time.
- This is due to lack of billing data received from GOA during the transition that prevents us from accurately determining the cumulative subscription time of EU accounts pre-transition.
- This means if an EU account currently has 8 years of subscription time accrued since the transition, they will now have credit for 12 years, and so on!
-
Endless Conquest accounts do not gain subscription time and cannot redeem or choose Veteran rewards.
- If an Endless Conquest account has previously subscribed and meets the various thresholds, that account would still need to be currently subscribed to redeem the rewards.
-
A new quest ‘[Monthly] Thank You!’ is granted and can be completed each month by every level 50 character on a Veteran (subscribed) account.
- This quest rewards characters with the non-tradable, Bound Buggane Draught that provides the appropriate Buggane’s Folly buff for their realm rank when used.
- Each potion has 20 charges and each charge lasts the normal 2 hour duration and remains through death, logout, or zoning.
Mithril Shop Updates
-
Mithril is Dark Age of Camelot’s MTX currency and can be purchased here!
- An account’s Mithril balance will only show within the Capital cities in each realm and Mithril items can only be purchased at the Mithril Shop NPCs there.
- Purchasing Mithril will apply the balance to ALL linked-game accounts under the EA account!
- All items purchased with Mithril cannot be traded, sold, dropped, or destroyed, so choose carefully and delve the items before purchasing!
-
Mithril Shop NPCs have multiplied!
- The Mithril Shop General Merchant sells consumable bonus potions, general account and character services, and mounts!
- The Mithril Shop Dye Merchant sells the newly available omni dyes!
- The Mithril Pattern Merchant sells the blank and pre-set patterns for character equipment customization!
-
Several new items are for sale:
-
10%, 25%, and 50% Realm point, bounty point, and experience potions
- These bonuses stack with ALL other applicable bonuses.
- These bonuses are the only bonuses that can be used and apply to Endless Conquest
- These bonuses CAN be shift+right-click removed but cannot be sheared and don’t remove on death, logout, or zoning.
-
Disable XP/RP gain potion
- Only Endless Conquest accounts may purchase this potion.
- When active, this effect prevents realm point and experience gain, allowing users to stay inside a battleground for longer!
- This effect CAN be shift+right-click removed but cannot be sheared and does not remove on death, logout, or zoning.
-
Grant Realm, Single Skill, and Full Skill Respecs
- These can be purchased by any account to grant the purchasing character the specified respec under the /respec command. Characters will then need to visit their trainer to perform the respec.
- These realm respecs still have the same limitation of two per day as normal realm respec stones.
-

NPC Buff Token Changes
-
Buff NPCs have been changed as follows:
-
All Buff NPCs now offer the same store options, regardless of their location or level, meaning that higher level characters can visit low-level areas and purchase their level's version of the buffs.
-
The store options have been streamlined to only offer the Full Buffs Tokens and the magic-resist tokens.
- No other buff options are available for purchase now but the NPCs will still accept previously-purchased tokens.
- Please note that handing in a token that is higher level than your character will now result in no buffs being given and the loss of the token.
- The tokens are now level-restricted and can only be purchased by characters that meet those level restrictions.
- The tokens have been renamed to denote their intended level.
-
The store options have been streamlined to only offer the Full Buffs Tokens and the magic-resist tokens.
-
All Buff NPCs now offer the same store options, regardless of their location or level, meaning that higher level characters can visit low-level areas and purchase their level's version of the buffs.
General Item, Quest, and Crafting Changes
-
All Endless Conquest-restricted items should be updated with delve-information that states they are not usable by EC-accounts.
- The Features Table lists the restricted items (or at least their category) but the item-delves in-game have the final say.
- The Unexpected Find quest has been disabled.
- Poisons, aside from lifebane which is still used as a crafting component are no longer sold on various merchants.
- Basic Crafting and all of its recipes have been removed.
Bug Fixes
- All newly created class and race combos should start in their proper starting guild now.
- Albion Dragon’s Curse Chapter 7: fixed a bug with Morella and Decimus respawning mid-encounter.
- The Circle of Five one-time-drop Skull of the Soul Keeper’s quest now shows in the /quest list.
- The quest Lysag’s Problems will once again progress normally.
- The NPC Arni has relocated to Fort Atla.
- The NPC Jonarra will once again interact with players.
Realm vs Realm
Frontier Population Restrictions
-
Per-realm population caps have been added to the Frontier that will prevent Endless Conquest accounts from zoning into the Frontiers if the thresholds are exceeded.
- Veteran accounts are not currently capped.
- This is done to help server and Frontier stability. Population caps may be decreased as necessary or increased if server-stability allows.
- There are no population caps in the Battlegrounds, Darkness Falls, Labyrinth, Passage of Conflict, Summoner’s Hall, or Celestius RvR regions.
-
These population limits also apply to Personal Bind Stones, Gateway, Mass Gateway, and Recall Scroll teleports.
- These abilities will not be usable by Endless Conquest accounts if the population threshold is breached and their character’s bind point is in the Frontiers and they are not already within the Frontier.
-
Endless Conquest accounts that log out in the Frontier will be relocated to their Capital City upon login if they have been logged out for more than 10 minutes.
- This relocation mechanic only applies to Endless Conquest account characters within the Frontiers, not other RvR regions.
Realm Loyalty Timers
-
The realm swap timers now begin when a character earns RPs from kills instead of on logout.
- Veteran accounts now have a 15-minute timer.
- Endless Conquest accounts have a 4-hour timer.
RvR Bonuses
-
Buggane’s Obelisk objective has been removed.
- Veteran accounts should utilize the battlefield and other RP bonus potions in existence or the new Bound Buggane Draught from the ‘[Monthly] Thank you!’ to compensate for the objective’s loss.
-
The Lone Wolf bonus potion has been removed. Teleports can still be obtained to Folley Lake, Trellebourg, and Moydruim Castle from the obelisks at the Ruined areas but the obelisks no longer grant the Lone Wolf potion.
- These teleports are no longer shearable.
- The dynamic population bonus system has been disabled.
- The +25% bonus from RvR kills has been folded into the base RP reward given to Veteran accounts and no longer appears on the /bonuses window.
- Outpost and relic bonuses remain unchanged.
Ruined Keeps
- The keeps of Caer Benowyc, Bledmeer Faste, and Dun Crauchon are no longer ruined and once again function as normal keeps.
- The supply boxes for the Supplies for the Cause quest are now only found at the Ruined Areas in each realm.
